Our
next stop was the Black Forest, where we stayed at a lake called the Schluchsee. |

is enclosed by mountains. Its main attraction is outdoor activity. |

homey hotel we stayed at at the Schluchsee, the Hotel

| The
main attraction of the Schluchsee in the summer is the lake itself. There is a great pool
complex with swimming in the lake and in two pools, plus a great slide. The group that we
met up with in the Black Forest, the "Coogee Gang" (a big group of people who all
became friends in Australia who were all in town to celebrate the wedding of our friends Marco
and Bine), spent our first full day together by the water and in the water! |
 |
| After
our day at the pool, the Coogee Gang enjoyed a BBQ cooked by Marco and Jim in the backyard
of our hotel. |
