The Klingentor
Rothenburg's well-known walls were damaged by WWII bombs, and people worldwide donated money to rebuild them and are remembered on the wall.
The Burgtor
The Klingentor is one of the many tower entrances to the town along the walls of Rothenburg.
A view of the city
Jim poses in front of the Burgtor, the oldest gate which was built around 1360. Rothenburg's city walls are more than a mile long, and it is possible to walk around the entire town up on the walls.
A beautiful view of one section of town, as seen from another section's walls.
