After the wedding we spent some time in the Odenwald hiking and sightseeing.
The so-called "Goethe View", a view from the forest over the Neckar Valley. We got there by doing a half-hour hike from the wedding reception hall.
Jim poses by a stone marking the way to the Goethe View. The hike was a nice way to end the wedding festivities in the area.
On the way back to Wahlen, Marco's hometown, we stopped in Hirschhorn to take some more photos of the town. Here is a photo of the church where Bine and Marco got married, this time showing the church in the sun.
When we got back to Wahlen, we joined some of the Coogee Gang on a walk to the Wassertret- und Kuranlage, a natural cool spring which improves your circulation if you walk through it (like Kate).
Here, the babies get to improve their circulation too, with Nicola helping Lea, Juan Carlos helping Alex, and Nadia helping Eve.
Here was the sign to the cool spring. There were lots of these cute wooden signs in towns all over the Odenwald.
