Warburg is 40 minutes northwest of Kassel. It is a virtually untouched German village with half-timbered houses and ancient churches. It also has a great pizzaria in the Rathaus!
A view from a park just outside of town.
The Altes Rathaus (Town Hall) built in 1336, with the late 12th century Pfarrkirche in the background.

A close up view of houses incorporating ancient ruins into their walls. We especially liked the ones that actually cut windows through the ancient walls.
