There are many lovely towns in the three countries that border Lake Constance.
A view south to the Swiss and Austrian parts of Lake Constance from the Swiss town of Romanshorn.
The lovely onion dome of the St. George's Kirche in Wasserburg, a town on the German side of Lake Constance.
The amazing fresoes of the Altes Rathaus (Old Town Hall) in Konstanz. The hall was built during the Renaissance and features paintings of flowers and fruits, shields, and knights wielding swords.
One of the charming streets of Rorschach in Switzerland. The Swiss and Austrian towns along Lake Constance are much less developed and less touristy than those on the German side.
The harbor in Konstanz with its newest landmark, the Imperia (in the upper left), a sculpture of a woman on a perpetually turning pedestal.
The entrance to Montfort Castle in the town of Langenargen on the German side of Lake Constance. The castle was rebuilt in Moorish style in the 19th century, but now it houses a restaurant and disco!
