in the mountains near Austria is Berchtesgaden,
a lovely mountain town. |

| Just
outside of town was our hotel, the Hotel
Rosenbichl, seen here at sunrise. It was very comfortable and
had beutiful views. |

route from our hotel into town took us down this road with an amazing
view of Berchtesgaden. |

| Berchtesgaden
is a cute little town with some charming restaurants and even some
nice sights in town, including the Schloßplatz (castle square)
and Residenz, which are both near to where this photo was taken. |
