At the end of July we had a super time doing the
town with Kirsten's high school friend Caryn
Pawliger when she was in Chicago for the weekend. We even washed the windows of the John
Hancock building (at least it looks that way from
this picture)! |

We were also excited to have Kirsten's cousin Matt
and his wife Annie out to visit in August. We had
a jam-packed four days of going to museums, boat
tours, the Chicago Air & Water Show, and a baseball game (unfortunately, the White Sox, not the
Cubs, despite the implication of this picture)! |
 |
| At the end of August, Kirsten had the thrill of going back
to London for the first time since she
studied there in 1991 (and Jim had the
thrill of going there for the first time
ever)! We were also very excited to be
able to meet up with our good friends
John and Susan McMahon during their
worldwide tour |

| (more about that on the
next page). We had a wonderful time
visiting and sightseeing, especially having the opportunity to tour the Queen's Residence (only
possible during August and September). She certainly
knows how to live in style! |

| In October we spent a long weekend in Florida
visiting Jim's sister Missy. We had a whirlwind
day of visiting all our favorite attractions at Disneyworld, plus had the opportunity to check out
Missy's workplace, the Disney Magic cruise ship
(pictured)! |
