| Liebe Familie und Freundin,
Fröhliche Weihnachten von
Deutschland!
For your authors of the annual Greco
Gazette, it has been one of the most
memorable (and perhaps most difficult) years in our lives -- a year filled
with hope, frustration, excitement, melancholy and courage. The transition to living in Germany
has been filled with experiences that we cannot even begin to
put in words (much less a Christmas newsletter). Yet,
despite the changes in our lives and across the world in the
past year, our wishes and message to you remain the same -
we miss our family and friends very much, and hope that all
of you have a wonderful, healthy holiday season.
We hope you enjoy the first online version of the Greco
Gazette (international postage is quite cost-prohibitive, you
know). We have included similar updates as in the past, such
as a quick summary of what our families are up to and our
Weddings & Babies section. But now with the magic of the
Internet at our fingertips, we can give you many more
updates and full-color pictures too! Just click on the flags
below to jump to our photo album!
So please be patient (with all the graphics, the download
times may be a bit long) and enjoy the Gazette. We hope
you will also send us your news from 2001 as well as make
plans in 2002 to pass through Hamburg!!! (Free lodging in
Europe. . . . how can you pass that up?) Happy holidays!
Tschüss,
Jim & Kirsten
