The final leg of our trip began with a trip
to South Bend to see a ND football game.
We then parted ways; while Jim stayed
in Chicago, Kirsten headed to Columbus. |

 |
| No Notre Dame football game is complete without
tailgating! Mom and Dad Brown always hold one
of the best tailgaters around, as friends Missy and
Marc Rightley (above left with Mom Brown, Jim,
and Kirsten's brother Kevin) can attest to! |

| The Brown tailgaters pull out all the
stops, including breakfast and lunch
from the grill. Here Dad Brown is
showing off the grill. |

| Kirsten's visit to Columbus was a bit
of a whirlwind (only 2.5 days), but
she was happy to have the chance to
see a few friends, including her Confirmation godmother Norma/"Pete"
Ricketts and husband Carl (above
with Mom Brown and Kirsten). |
 |
| Another friend Kirsten was delighted to see was one
of her oldest friends, Dr. Jennifer Olsen (above).
Kirsten and Jen have been friends since 7th grade.
Jen is now a pediatrician (boy, do we feel old!). |
