It
is said that Acapulco is one of the five most beautiful harbors in
the world! |

harbor of Acapulco with its warm greeting and well-known bay. The
400-year old Fort San Diego is just off the photo to the left. |

from just above the white square at the middle of the photo. |

| We
had the opportunity to see about 12 divers dive during our Acapulco
excursion. Here, two dive at the same time while another waits to
dive just above them and three others wait at the top. |

lovely vista over the harbor from a portside square in Old Acapulco.
The buildings you can see on the other side are located on the Peninsula
de las Playas. |

 |
| Another
thing we got to see on our Acapulco excursion was one of the best-known
resorts in Acapulco, the Acapulco Princess Hotel, constructed to resemble
an Aztec pyramid. Here is one of the many amazing pools overlooking
the ocean. |
 |
| The
Acapulco Princess is famous for its open air lobby, free-form pools,
swim-up bar and extensive grounds graced by peacocks, flamingoes (like
this one above) and swans. |
