In February 2002, Kirsten and Mom
Brown spent a fun five days in New York
City on a mother/ daughter trip. They
painted the town red, white & blue! |

 |
| On our third night, we took a three hour night bus
tour through the city, beginning and ending in
colorful Times Square. |

 |
 |
| One of the highlights of the trip was a
visit to the Upper East Side to see the
building (above) that Kirsten's grandmother was born in and lived in. |

 |
| On our second morning, we visited Ground
Zero. The top photo is of where the Towers
stood, and the bottom photo is of the
memorials still up nearby. |

 |
 |
 |
| Our night bus tour took us across the Manhattan
Bridge for a view of the skyline back across the water.
This is a view of the portion of the skyline where the
Twin Towers had stood (in the blank area just left of
center in the photo). The Towers were twice as tall
as any of the buildings in the photo. |
 |
| We got to see two
shows on Broad-way:
Aida and Cabaret. |
