| Not surprisingly, we spent a fair amount of time with family in 2006. Now, before you say “grandchildren (or nephews) can do that” -- which is true -- the year actually began with a real family gathering: Missy’s wedding! Missy and Bill had a spectacular wedding celebration in Orlando this past January, topped off by a memorable reception at the Epcot Center American Adventure. Who else can claim to provide a laser-light show and fireworks for their guests? It was a wonderful start to a memorable year; read more about Missy and Bill on our Weddings and Babies page.
A short time after Dylan’s birth, we were blessed with everyone’s presence in Hamburg for Dylan’s baptism in May. It was a wonderful celebration with family, and we were overjoyed that they travelled across the Atlantic for such a special occasion. After our repatriation, we of course had to spend some time in our favourite mountain haunt of Breckenridge, and yet again spend time with the entire family. And what glorious weather we had! You see it right here in our latest and greatest family pictures, complete with the latest generation of Greco (singular) – Mr. Dylan James! Probably the greatest thing about being home is seeing family interact with and enjoy Dylan. The bonus for us is free babysitting, because babies are hard work! We’re looking forward to creating many more memories – and babysitting opportunities – in 2007. |
