Serfaus, Austria (in Tirol) to do some
skiing in the Alps with our friends
Elaine and Christian. |

| We had great visibility our first two days of skiing.

| Serfaus had had sunny, warm weather
for a week before we arrived. Our first
two days were sunny as well with
good snow up high, but slush low. |

| Halfway through our trip, the weather
changed to rain, and finally on the last day,
to snow. Here are before and after views
from the terrace of our condo -- quite a
difference! |

| We took an overnight train from Hamburg down to
Austria, then a bus to Serfaus, which arrived mid-
morning. Here we are that first day having lunch on
the Sonnenterrasse (terrace) of a local restaurant. |
