The Hague is the Netherlands' seat of government and the residence of the royal family.
The beach outside the Kurhaus Hotel at sunset. Scheveningen, where the Kurhaus is located, is the largest beach resort in the Netherlands.
The Steigenberger Kurhaus Hotel, located 3 km from downtown The Hague in the suburb of Scheven-ingen. The Kurhaus has a seafront position on the North Sea.

The parliamentary buildings, or Binnenhof (Inner Court), have long been the heart of Dutch politics, although nowadays the parliament actually meets in a new building outside the Binnenhof.
