After Corinth, we drove across the peninsula to our resort in Skafidia on the west coast.
Halfway through our drive, we stopped for lunch at a lovely restaurant in the little town of Vitina, where we had wonderful lamb and goat dishes.
A shrine and a sign at a crossroads along the drive. There are thousands of shrines to saints along roadways all over Greece. The shrines always include an icon of the saint and a candle or oil lamp, among other things. Often there are also flowers.
A sign and flags marking the fact that you are entering the province of Achaia and welcoming you there.
A lovely panoramic view from a spot on the road between Diakofto and Kalavryta. This is a view looking north and showing a glimpse of the Corinthian Gulf. This route also has a train which takes you through a lovely gorge.
