Glencoe
is probably Scotland's most famous and atmospheric glen; we certainly loved
it! |

We did a 2 mile walk to find the "Lost Valley" behind the Three Sisters.

| Rich gives
a thumbs up regarding the difficulty of the hike. This hike was classified
as an Easy/Medium, but you never know who is doing the classifying and what
they consider to be easy! |
 |
| The
Lost Valley - at last! This was the destination of our hike. Supposedly,
the Lost Valley was where the Macdonald clan hid the cattle that they had
stolen. |

The
"Fellowship of the Glencoe Hike" make their way over a ridge
to the Lost Valley. We commented many times that the scenery in Scotland
looks very similar to the scenery in New Zealand, where the Lord of
the Rings (inset) movies were filmed. |

and Lisa heading up one of the many steep ridges on the Lost Valley hike.
The hike was fun but steep, and included a place where we had to cross the
river (we stayed mostly dry . . .). |
